Miracles appear in the strangest of places. And so, it was when a group of friends decided to enter a bluegrass band competition back in 1994. What started 28 years ago as an afternoon of fun turned into one of the most endeared and entertaining franchises in bluegrass music… Nothin’ Fancy.
Can they play and sing? You bet, but what sets this band apart is their uncanny ability to entertain, they have the hardware to back it up, including an astonishing 6 SPBGMA “Entertainer of the Year Awards” and an induction into the Virginia Country Music Hall of Fame, to mention but a few. Internationally acclaimed event producer D.A. Callaway, from Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO described Nothin’ Fancy as, “the act that America needs to see.” You won’t want to be away from your seat when this bunch hits the stage. They’re Nothin’ Fancy, but they sure are good!!
