Remington Ryde in the last 5 years has been one of the busiest bands on the bluegrass circuit performing over 120 dates a year throughout the U.S. and Canada. The band is led by Ryan Frankhouse on guitar and lead vocals, Billy Lee Cox on banjo, Stanley Efaw on mandolin and tenor vocals, and Ron Truman on bass. In 2017, Remington Ryde signed a major recording contract with Pinecastle Records. The first release entitled “A Storyteller’s Memory”, was a tribute album to James King. The album has done well with several songs hitting the Bluegrass Charts. Since 2016, the band has had 8 SPBGMA Award nominations in Nashville, Tennessee including; “Entertainer of the Year”! In Spring of 2018, the band signed a three year contract with Johnny Cash Hideaway Far and Storyteller’s Museum in Bon Aqua, Tennessee.
