The Alex Leach Band

Friday, April 14

Formed and based in East Tennessee, The Alex Leach Band is a multi-talented group that brings exceptional musicianship and high energy to any stage they play. After releasing their debut album on the Mountain Home Music label with award winning producer, Jim Lauderdale, the band spent all of 2021 burning up the roads playing Folk, Bluegrass, and Americana festivals all over the country.

Singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, Alex Leach is accompanied on stage and in the studio by his wife and vocalist, Miranda Leach, as well as Joshua Gooding on mandolin and vocals, longtime member, JT Coleman on bass, and their newest member, Jason Johnson on banjo.

The band is taking the acoustic music of the traditional Bluegrass and Americana world that Alex grew up in; the world that inspired him to start playing in the first place, and moving it ahead into a new future of venues, audiences, and genres.

Their upcoming album, set to debut in Spring 2022, will feature nearly all original songs, written by Alex and Miranda, as well as a few that will be co-written by Alex and award-winning songwriters, Jon Weisberger and Jim Lauderdale.
